Support Product Upgrade Information - Windows Mobile Software Only

The process of upgrading is now managed via your Fizz Software online account. Go to the link below to logon :-

If you do not know your account details, click forgotten password and enter your email address. Your details will be sent to you. Please note that the email address is the one used when you purchased. If your email address has changed, email support to let them know both your old and new email addresses and they can reset your password and send you your account details.

Once you have logged onto your account, you will see a list showing which Fizz products you have purchased. If you are eligible for an upgrade you will see a link next to the serial number which says 'Upgrade'. Click this to upgrade your version. Your chosen product will automatically be added to your basket with any applicable discounts already subtracted.

Software Upgrade Policy - Windows Mobile Software Only

Once you are a registered user of a product from Fizz Software, you are entitled to a free copy of any minor update to that product. For example, if you have purchased version 2.0 of the product, you will get all the further 2.x versions free.

In this instance, just download the latest version from our website and your serial number will be automatically recognised.

In addition, once a major revision (2.0, 3.0, etc.) of the product you purchased is released, you can upgrade for 50% off the normal price. If the next major version is released within 60 days from your previous purchase, you are entitled to a FREE upgrade. Please email support for instructions on how to receive your complimentary upgrade or see the product detail page.

Please note that anyone who has received a Fizz product free as part of a promotional offer or OEM offer either made by us or one of our partners, will not qualify for free or discounted upgrades. Also, if you purchased your Fizz product as part of a bundle deal, such as the Pocket PC magazine 'Best of Everything CD', you will also not qualify for free or discounted upgrades. If you are unsure on this point, please contact us.

The discounts are only available if you are purchasing the NEXT version of software you have already purchased, otherwise, no discounts are available. For example, if you have purchased version 1.x and now you want to purchase version 3.x you have to pay the full price.

We also do not provide upgrades to products other than those you have already purchased, for example you cannot upgrade Fizz Weather to Fizz Traveller.

Activation / Reactivation Information - Windows Mobile Software Only

If you change your device or perform a hard reset, you will need to de-activate the software on your old device or from your Fizz Software on-line account and then re-activate your software on the new device. The process is simple:-

  1. Logon to your Fizz Software Online account at www.fizzsoftware.com/myaccount
  2. If you do not have your login details, you can have them sent to you by using the lost password link. The email address here will be the one used when you registered your product. If you have changed your email address since your purchase, email support@fizzsoftware.com, make sure you tell them the email address you originally used.
  3. Once you have logged onto your account, choose deactivate.
  4. You can now install Fizz Traveller 3 on your new device and then choose Activate, you can use the same activation number, this is listed in your account details.
